OK heres my thought:
Why do people judge musicans for the genre of music they are in? (genre:pop,rock etc.) My bro does that a lot! I can't stand it though! Ex. If *Nsync were a rock band and played instruments then guys would be all like oh *Nsync rocks, but just because they sing pop, the automatically assume that they suck... in which they don't! Anyways just think before you judge an artist!
This section I made for people to see why you should respect *Nsync.
Ok here is a letter written by the webmistress of Gettin Jiggy Wit Joey (Valerie) to Whitney Matheson, who wrote a column about Joey of *Nsync and Valerie's website.

Whitney,
Hello! I'm writing to you in regards to the column you wrote on September 27, 2000. You wrote about different things on television that you may have seen wrong or didn't like because of the impossible phenomena that surround these different elements. You wrote about Joey Fatone who just happens to be a member of *N Sync. This teen and adult pop sensation may not be something that you agree with or see fit to be part of our new and trendy social standing. In this so called article you wrote you, a low paid columnist, bashed, this high paid entertainer, for doing what he does best. What I don't understand is why you chose to use my website. I am the web mistress of Gettin Jiggy With Joey. You may have thought, in using my website, that you were using the work of some pre-teen. A child who could not yet protect or support her work and effort. I am a 19 year old college student. I'm working right now towards getting a masters degree in Speech Therapy. In case you were wondering what that is, I'm going to work with handicapped children. I want to make a difference. I know that you are graded everyday on what your personal opinion is but you are just that, one person. I don't see how you can give yourself this all knowing power to say what is trendy and what is not. It seems to me that you either really like *N Sync and are just hiding if from the world because it isn't cool for a 20 something to like *N Sync or you have very poor musical taste. I myself like all kinds of music from classical to country, rap to r&b. I have prided myself in loving all types of music. I do believe that you are placing your musical bias upon the fact that you have not allowed yourself to enjoy other types of music. So let me ask you this question. Have you ever seen one of *N Sync's live concerts? If you have not then maybe that's your problem. You have not seen up close and personal the type of effort they put into there shows every night. You haven't seen the blood, sweat, and tears. The hard work and dedicated effort. So to you I say unless you know what your talking about don't say anything. You base this column on your opinion but your the only person that your opinion matters to. So for you using my website, what you must realize is that while you may not like it, you may not think it's worth looking at on the internet. What I have to say to that is on Netscape, alone, I have over 60,000 hits and on Internet Explorer I have over 100,000 hits. My website hasn't even been up for two years. You can't tell me that Joey doesn't deserve his recognition. You can't tell me that he doesn't deserve the love and devotion of his fans. It would be like me telling you that what you do and what you love is foolish to believe in. I know that many pre-teens do go to my site and in the beginning, when I first liked *N Sync, I to believed that it was a pre-teen fantasy. I have changed my mind. I have been to four live concerts now and these five guys have my love and devotion. I guess it must be hard for you to think of these five celebrities helping anyone through there music. Don't you understand that music is a universal language. It is what all people, man and woman alike, understand. I was hoping that through this simple e-mail I would be able to help you understand what I understood three years ago. *N Sync is out there making music, saying words that experienced poets could say. Maybe you just need to learn to appreciate what they do and maybe then people will learn to appreciate what you do. One more thing. You probably don't believe that I'm 19 or that I'm this huge *N Sync fan being my age. If you do not believe me you can always come to my town to see for yourself. You can come down here and see the hard work and effort I put into everyday. Then again the choice is up to you.
